Athletic development

Training for athletic development is crucial in creating a well rounded athlete. Here at Southside Strength & Conditioning our main goal is to decrease future injuries that may occur to athletes during play time. We focus on agility, balance, speed, plyometric and strength training. Of course, each athlete is different which makes their programing unique to whatever sport they play and season they are in. Class Times:

30 Minute Youth Boxing Class with Athletic Development Focus:

Monday: 3:15pm-3:45pm (price $10.00)

Ages: 3rd-8th grade

Class Description: This class focuses on plyometrics, agility and conditioning. Class starts off with agility and polymetric training and ends with conditioning utilizing boxing bags.

Youth Athletic Development Class:

Wednesday: 3:15pm-3:45pm (price $10.00)

Ages: 4th-6th grade

Class Description: Our class consists of agility and plyometric training followed by strength and conditioning.

Athletic Development Advanced Class:

Tuesday and Thursdays: 3:15pm-4:00pm

Ages: 7th-12th grade

Class Price: $12.00

Class Description: This class focuses on form, learning progressive overload, plyometrics, agility and strength. This class is advanced and will take your athlete(s) above and beyond during practice and gametime.

Children must be registered and have all waivers and questionnaires filled out before participating.

Children must be at the maturity age to be able to follow and listen to instructions in order to participate in this class.

 

Who is this Class for?

This class is for any kid who wants to excel in any sport they play. This class will decrease potential injuries they may face on or off the court/field. Your child(ren) will work on skills/exercises associated with their sport and plane of movement(s).


Coaches:

Classes are taught by our highly certified coaches who have ample years of experience coaching athletes at every sport and fitness levels.
