Personal Training & Group Classes:

Need that extra push in the gym? Southside Strength & Conditioning offers personal training and group classes for all fitness levels.

Personal training is programmed around the client’s goals (fat loss, gaining muscle, etc.) and is one-on-one with the coach of your choice. Ask a friend to join you, and split the cost of a session in half.

Our group classes are not like any other gym. Our coaches keep track of each individual’s progress in the gym regardless of class size. We will NEVER let you fall stagnant in the gym. You will ALWAYS be making progress.

Who is this option for?

This option is for anyone who needs/wants 1 on 1 attention. Maybe you have a limitation preventing you from performing some movements or a very specific goal you are working towards, then this option is for you.

Strength & Conditioning

Who is this class for?

Anyone and any fitness level! We believe a good workout consists of weight training followed by metabolic conditioning. This maximizes strength gain as well as fat loss.

We are serious when we say ANY fitness level is welcomed. We provide modifications with every workout and will work with whatever is better for you personally.

Strength & Conditioning class set up:

A typical group class consists of:

5 to 10 minutes of a warm up

20 to 25 minutes of strength or skill work

5 to 10 minutes of metabolic conditioning

5 minutes of a cool down

a typical class can last 30-45 minutes

Core Class

Who is this class for?

Core Class will focus on helping you to develop an all around stronger connection with your most important stabilization muscles, which include the six pack you can see, your pelvic floor, and all the muscles wrapping all the way into your lower back to create your natural “lifting belt.”

Understanding how to engage and relax these different muscles throughout movement is important whether you are a novice or experienced in the gym, male or female. Proper utilization decreases risk of developing conditions such as urinary incontinence, back pain, and risk for falls that typically develop as a result of childbirth, old age, or improper lifting mechanics.

Yoga

Who is this class for?

This class is for anyone and any fitness level. Every movement or stretch can be modified to each individual. Every other session we switch between Vinyasa and Gentle Flow.

45 minute class

Low Impact

Who is this class for?

This class if for anyone who wants a low impact class due to age, health concerns, etc. We focus on building strength & balance as well as doing some aerobic exercises.

30 minute class

Powerbuilding

Powerbuilding Class

Who is this class for?

This class is for anyone who is wanting to gain strength and put on muscle size! A class will consist of compound lifts followed by accessory work.

45 minute class
